Well when i tried finding the open source community in Lebanon, i couldnt find that many ppl who where interested in sharing what information they had... so much for the philosophy behind Linux. Any way i hope everybody gets more ppl involved in this lebanese project, because God knows theres a shortage of intellectuals in Leb!!!
I, for one, decided to kill my wizoz OS after it almost ruined me several times(system crash...unrecoverable data...memory dump...that kind of shit) so I turned to the only other alternative, which was the UNIX/LINUX GUI (officially) and after a bit of research, mounted an ubby distro [You'll c a lot of abbreviations from me:)) and found a way to further the agony of tinysoft. DUAL-BOOT!!!! yes indeed i did not kill it off as i had originally planned, but kept it hidden from view for 1:Experimentation purposes, and 2: the fact that family using my LT will not know how to drive the OS without crashing into walls, and the most important reason 3: Most software is made for mcrsft OS's, and the common user knows little outside the world of wizoz. Hell,  once a guy called my and sed dat his internet died. upon further investigation, it turned out his IE6 shortcut had been moved to the recycle bin by mistake. so his 'internet' had died. two words: MOZZILA FIREFOX. learn it. memorize it. use it. u can even try netscape or chrome whatever, but DONT use IE.
there is a site called http://acid3.acidtests.org/ please use this link to test out how efficient ur browser is (ur current window) MF tested at 93% and IE6 at 16% IE7 at 40something i think....anyway, the acid 3 test should give u the colours red,orange,yellow,green,grey, and purple, and shows the rating of ur current browser and how efficient it is using javacsript and css and that kind of stuff which im not gonna go into details right now. if ur using a somewhat older version, try the acid 2 test at http://acid2.acidtests.org/#top which should give u a smiley face with the words HELLO WORLD above it! Please note that the nose should turn blue when ur mouse pointer hovers above it.
